ET5T NIO ET5T Upgrade to EDDY HeightAdjustable Sport Spring

 For the NIO ET5T, you don’t have to replace the full suspension assembly to adjust ride height. Fitted with factory-stock CDC (Continuously Controlled Damping), this upgrade retains the original dampers and full CDC functionality while re-tuning springs and vehicle ride height.

This ET5T receives the EDDY HeightAdjustable Sport Spring Kit. The factory dampers are kept in service; only front and rear springs plus matching heightadjustment perches are installed.

Spring rates are set to 6.6K (front) / 7K (rear). Frontrear springs are matched to axle geometry and load conditions. Adjustable spring perches alter spring support positions to deliver flexible ride-height tuning range. This solution separates factory electronic damping control from rideheight adjustment. It is ideal for owners who wish to retain stock suspension features yet reset vehicle stance.

 As shown on the front assembly, OEM dampers remain in place. EDDY springs and adjustable perches assemble around the stock damper body. After installation, the adjuster modifies spring support position and final ride height without full suspension replacement.

 Once fitted at the front, springs, adjustable perches and OEM dampers form one integrated unit. The rear layout differs: factory rear dampers and springs are separate components. EDDY rear springs mount in the stock spring location with adjustable perches fitted above springs.

Despite different front-rear hardware layouts, the tuning principle stays identical: reset front and rear ride height while keeping the factory suspension intact. Unlike fixedrate lowering springs, further height adjustments are available post-installation.

On initial installation, fendertire gap was set to roughly 1finger. Though the vehicle sat noticeably lower visually, it is equipped with a front splitter. Realworld conditions such as garage ramps, speed bumps and undulating roads mean static appearance alone cannot determine final ride height.

Ride height was recalibrated for practical dailydriving needs and settled at around 2finger clearance. No spring replacement is needed for adjustment from 1finger to 2finger; height is tuned purely by the builtin adjustable perches.

This preserves ample margin for future use. If wheels, tires or exterior parts are modified, or driving conditions change, ride height can be re-tuned instead of being locked to the initial setting.

 At the final 2-finger setting, fender-tire gap stays tight and sporty, while granting adequate clearance for the front splitter, ramps and speed bumps. OEM dampers and the CDC system remain fully functional; this upgrade focuses solely on springs and ride-height tuning.
